Upcoming reviews and the Flu

So far I have tried the Presidents Choice Cerveza and I can’t say I’am disappointed since I had such low expectations of this beer. If it hit any lower it would require clinical counselling for the obvious depression that it is in. I’am not going to be posting the review at this time since I want to release them all at the same time; I however will be limiting it to a 3 part series since it only 3 different beers come in the taster pack.

With the H1N1 flu virus looming over the population of the planet and the amazing panic mentality that it seems to have engendered. I think we should all take some advice from the most wholly remarkable book, probably the most remarkable book ever to come out of the great publishing corporations of Ursa Minor. The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy it is slightly cheaper than the Encyclopaedia Galactica and it has the words “DON’T PANIC” inscribed large friendly letters on its cover. Now beyond quoting Douglas Adams obvious wisdom in that one statement.

I’ve been hearing from people that work in the flu clinics that are currently trying to get the high risk and frontline municipal staff vaccinated with the smaller early shipments of the vaccine. That they are having line jumpers people staging sit-ins until they get the vaccine. I think this is absolutely reprehensible especially many of those individuals are not in the high risk groups or will not be in a position were they are giving care or aid to those affected by this virus. Despite assurances that there will be enough to go around they are willing to take away from someone else to save there own hide. I’am not intending to get the shot while the high risk clinics are in effect (which I’am according to Health Canada a high risk due to asthma). If I get the shot I will be perfectly happy to get it when it’s out for everyone. I’am not saying don’t get the shot I’am all for as many people getting the vaccine as possible. What I’am saying is wait your turn cutting in line and taking away from the high risk people that need it more than you doesn’t help anyone but yourself it could actually cost lives. I’am not getting it now even though I qualify because I know there are people out there who need it more than me.

Cheers
