Peroni: Nastro Azzurro

Peroni: Nastro Azzurro

Nastro Azzurro is an Italian beer that I have tried before. It has a nice taste a good colour a bit of a metallic aftertaste that I have only ever tasted in Stella but it is not as pronounced. It is a very smooth beer with a clean crisp taste and a little bitterness that goes well with fish, chicken and pasta so far that I have found. It’s amazing with baked salmon. It’s a 5.2% Lager that I would recommend. Peroni Brewery has been brewing beer in Vigevano, Italy since 1846.now owned by SABMiller (Miller brewing which is actually South African and they bought the Milwaukee Miller and added it to its name). This particular beer I am reviewing has been brewed since 1965
