Labatt’s Blue

Ok Labatt’s Blue has always had a special place in my heart. It is the beer my parents drink and it was the beer I was brought up on. It’s been the big beer in Canada since the railways opened the west and it was the only brewery that didn’t switch hands after the prohibition. Labatt’s Blue is a %5.0 Pilsner and has supported the Winnipeg Blue Bomber’s a CFL team (This info is for the none Canadians). This is actually where it got its name. They also owned the Toronto Blue Jay’s. Labatt’s also can be attributed in part to the finding of Pamela Anderson first appearing on TV wearing a Blue Zone crop top spotted by a bored cameraman at a BC Lions game and the fabled Blue Zone Girl posters were born. So this beer has had a rich history in Canada and has given us a few things to be thankful for. Ok back to the beer. As I said it’s a %5.0 Pilsner with a nice golden colour a fruity aroma. A slight taste of hops perfect companion with almost all junk food and bar snacks.
