Bavaria of Holland Light

Ok this is going to be short since I’ve done the history of the brewery already for this company. Bavaria Light is a %4.0 lager that is smooth, crisp tasting and refreshing. Being a light beer it is a little watery but not overly such. Basically like Bavaria regular its cheap it comes in Tall Boys and its everywhere and it will get you there. That’s basically it unfortunately. This will also be the podcast beer this week since I don’t have anything else in the apartment at this time and I used the Maclay’s for the rabbie burns day podcast on Monday.

Moosehead Light Lime

Moosehead Light Lime

Moosehead is a great Canadian Beer and our nations largest export beer. This is brand is widely available is most western European nations. Aside from being a large independent brewery I really like there original beer. Moosehead light lime is a pretty good beer it has a definite lime flavouring but it also tastes like a beer. It’s a %4.0 light lager and it doesn’t cost a fortune. As far as a lime beer goes it doesn’t overdo it but it doesn’t understate the lime flavouring either. I would say that it is on par with bud light lime as far as light lime beers go which is saying a lot for me. It still hasn’t quite made it up the ivory pedestal that Corona with an actual lime wedge sits upon but it makes it to the same level bud light lime did. A good addition to the Moosehead family I would try it on a patio with a good steak.

St. Ambroise Apricot and Wheat

St. Ambroise Apricot Wheat Ale

Ok the first sip of this beer and I thought that booster juice was doing it all wrong than about 3 sips in the charm faded. St. Ambroise Apricot and Wheat Ale is a %5.0 ale it has a very strong apricot flavour and is supposed to taste like a beer but it tastes like a fruit cocktail that has had a beer poured in it now I know this beer isn't for me so I had a freind try it and she liked it so as sexist as this sounds This may be the Bacardi Breezer of the beer world and a it tastes like a chick drink. But for those people who would like to try something different or people who dont like beer all that much and would like a nice introductory beer something that sort of tastes like a beer then try this.
